The Supersonics acquired forward D.J. White from the Pistons for the rights to forward Walter Sharp and center Trent Plaisted. This was an excellent move for the Sonics as White can help them soon. He’s a true power forward at 6’9″, 251 pounds and he knows how to use his body to create good shots for himself as he shot 56.2% from the floor in his career with Indiana. White played in 99 games (97 starts) at Indiana and he averaged 14.6 points, 7.6 rebounds, 0.9 assists and 2.0 blocked shots per game. Look for White to earn his way into the playing rotation quickly for the Sonics.
